About Greykhat

The technology changed. The instinct to understand it never did.

Greykhat helps small businesses make practical decisions about IT, cybersecurity, automation, software, and the web—without unnecessary complexity or black-box handoffs.

Technology should support the way your business works, not make the work harder.

Curiosity became a career

From a first PC at 14 to automation and AI.

Greykhat was founded on March 6, 2015, but the story started much earlier.

I built my first PC at 14 and grew up alongside the personal-computing and internet eras—taking systems apart, learning how they worked, and following each new wave of technology as it changed the way people lived and worked.

That curiosity eventually became a profession. I studied software development and finance in college, giving me a perspective that combines technical problem-solving with an understanding of how businesses make decisions, manage risk, and create value.

Over the years, my work has expanded across IT support, cybersecurity, websites, custom software, and business systems. Today, much of my focus is on automation and practical AI: helping businesses eliminate repetitive work, connect disconnected tools, and use emerging technology where it creates a real advantage.

Greykhat represents that evolution—from hobbyist, to student, to technology professional, to business owner. The tools keep changing. The goal remains the same: understand the problem, build the right solution, and make sure the person using it understands what they have.

Greykhat provides IT support, cybersecurity guidance, automation, custom software, and website development for small businesses and individuals.

When you work with Greykhat, you work directly with me—from understanding the problem through building, explaining, and supporting the solution. That means less translation loss, clearer tradeoffs, and decisions made with the full business context in view.

  • Plain-English recommendations
  • Right-sized solutions instead of default packages
  • Visible progress and practical documentation
  • Security and maintainability built into the work
  • Direct access to the person doing the thinking and building

The Greykhat name was inspired by Loki, a Russian Blue cat—curious, clever, observant, and occasionally mischievous.

That personality still fits the work: look closely, question the obvious answer, and keep digging until the system makes sense.
